One of the companies managed by Richard owns a Colorado farm and one of the trusts is invested in farms around the world.  Richard’s past business experience includes various aspects of agricultural production, where he was CEO of the Arizona Dairy Company, for example, and Managing Member of Morrison Brothers Windmill Ranch.  He has been a Trustee for the Farm Foundation in Chicago, Illinois, and is a member of the board and executive committee of the Agribusiness and Water Council of Arizona.


Agricultural policy, including both domestic farm bills and international trade policies, have long been an interest of Richard’s.  In his professional life as a lawyer, he has also testified before Congress on legislation affecting the intersection of government farm programs and the use of irrigation water from federal reclamation projects.
